Living Christmas Trees

Deodar Cedar

Very large, graceful trees with short blue-green needles on woody branches that droop at the tips. Grows 40' to 70' tall and half as wide.


Aleppo Pine

Attractive, rugged tree with rounded habit and open irregular crown of many short, ascending branches and bunches of light green needles. Grows 30' to 50' tall and almost as wide.


Austrian Black Pine

An attractive, sturdy, well shaped, densely branched pine with dark green needles. Often used as a living Christmas tree. Grows 40' to 50' tall and 20' to 40' wide.


Italian Stone Pine

Very characteristic umbrella-like shape, with a short trunk and very broad, smoothly rounded to nearly flat crown. Medium green needles. Grows 30' to 60' tall and 20' to 40' wide.


Monterey Pine

Shiny green needles, 4 to 6 inches long, on a tall upright tree with an irregular, open crown and dark reddish-brown bark. Grows 50' to 100' tall and 20' to 40' wide.


Dwarf Alberta Spruce

Stiff conical, tight-growing spruce. Excellent for a small table, living Christmas tree and is very suitable for year-round container growing. Grows 6' to 8' tall and half as wide.


Colorado Blue and Green Spruce

A very stiff, beautiful formal tree with green or blue-green foliage. Often used as specimen trees because of their individual beauty. Grows 30' to 60' tall and 10' to 20' wide.

Incense Cedar

Easy to grow (it's native!) and has a nice clean look. Grows 30' to 50' and 8' to 10' wide.

A slow-growing pine with an upright pyramidal habit. Drought tolerant once established. Grows to 20'.
